Khimki is a second populated city of the Moscow region in Russia. Located on the banks of the Moscow canal. Directly adjacent to the capital. Known movement for the preservation of the Khimki forest. Through the city passes the highway Moscow – St.-Petersburg. The population of 208,6 thousand people, 91% Russian, 2.23% of Ukrainians.
